Hello to all of you.

I want to thank you all for your kinds word. I have been feeling to well with this fibromyalgia. It really have your whole body hurting and really in bad pain. well today is little more better and start my Cpap which is for anyone who don't know for my sleep apena machine last friday. Well I have been in physical therpy for about three months to four months in half. Everything is going ok with that. So sad to say that one of pills that take made me gain twenty pounds back. But I am happy to say that I lost ten pounds off. Well wednesday I will see a GI specialist and a pulmonary specailist. Not in the same month or day. So just keep me in your prays. I have not been able to keep all of food down so I have to go to the GI Clint.

it sounds like you are making progress...and you seem to have that "I"M GOING TO MAKE THIS WORK" attitude...!! I will keep you in my thoughts/prayers...take care of you and keep us posted!

Thank you all and I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. Just so hard for me to get up in the morning.Because I take 8 to 10 pills twice a day.

I know how it is with medication and gaining weight. Prednisone puts weight on me like gang busters. And well when my thyroid meds need adjusting. Hang in there and keep chugging away at it. I got to this point in my life that I realized that I need to do something because the weight is killing me and I can take it off but I can never keep it off. So I am on my way to the surgery at least I hope so. I hope all goes well for you and hope that your weight loss helps your condition.I also take tons of meds.. It gets to be like a rope around your neck all the time. And they all have side effects that make you sick in other ways. I am looking forward to my daily routine being vitamins and such instead of all the pharmaceuticals.

I know somewhat how ya' feel. Everybody's different so I won't say we feel the "same"... But I have a degenerative spinal disorder, Colitis, as well as myofascial pain disorder. I take extended release morphine 3x a day and that is the LEAST drowsy med we found (fentanyl patch--bad, methadone--bad, etc., etc). I take a bunch of other meds to treat my gut, muscle spasticity and DEPRESSION. Of course the meds for depression cause weight gain and difficulty with weight LOSS which CAUSES depression!!! Bleh!

Anyway, everyday I just get up and go full-tilt as fast as I can, which is pretty darned slow--ha ha. BUT because I TRY and I'm not laying there accepting defeat, I feel a lot better. I do also walk, and do simple indoor resistance exercises to keep up arm and leg muscle tone--that makes me feel soooooo good compared to if I'm totally sedentary.

Hey, I have 12lbs to go and I will have lost 100lbs! My little 5'1 frame feels better already from that! You'll have better times when your life is not wrapped around your health care. Ya' just gotta get this stuff outta the way!

Once upon a time I also seemed to have appointments I had to go to continually. Not anymore. It's a great freedome to be on maintenance!
