Smile Three Weeks almost

Well it has been almost three weeks since my surgery. I am on the soft foods stage and today ate an entire egg in my 1/2 meal. Tasted pretty good with ketchup!

I get on Monday. At my one week visit I had lost 25lbs since surgery! Can't wait to see how much more!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well, mainly scrambled eggs, some pudding, yogurt, I did try salmon and that went well. Mashed potatoes have never tasted so good! lol! I have had cottage cheese too! Of course I still drink a protein shake... love the Choco Rite on the Netrition.net site. They stay thick and taste really good!

I made a meatloaf tonight for tomorrow. So we will see how that goes. It should stay nice and juicy since I kept it covered and cooked it in tomato soup!

How is everything going for you? I hope well! My first day of "food" I could eat half and egg! Now I can almost eat the entire egg! I used my little food processor from GE to mix the egg with a lot of milk and it made it nice and soft when cooked!

Good luck and let me know how it goes for you!

Congrats on your progress! When I got to my soft food stage, my dear friend invited my family over for dinner and we all had well cooked Cream of Wheat - it never tasted so good.
I also did yogurt, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs. I didn't do ground beef for a while, in fact I still have to be careful with it and chew it up really well. A single serving of mashed potatoes from KFC was a treat I remember well!

Hope you have a great week!

MotoCo - tell him to check the labels and get the reduced sugar or no sugar added kind. Regular ketchup can be a good source of hidden sugars! And just because they say "No High-Fructose Corn Syrup" doesn't mean they didn't just fill it with sugar instead!
