Default I'm at a really weird stage - suggestions?

Hi Guys ~ I am getting frustrated. I have done really well (at least I'm happy with it) to date but things are changing! I find that I am eating more than I feel like I should and I get the worse munchies!!! I am trying to only keep healthy choices around and have avoided sugar like the plague but since my weight loss has slowed significantly I am afraid I will slide back into my old self and that just plain scares me! I had such a zest for exercise and now I have to drag myself up to do it. I knew that feeling wasnt going to last forever but I had hoped I'd get to goal before I lost it. I am wondering if I should do that re-set diet? I dont feel full but then if Im not careful, I feel sick (thank Heaven the pouch still works) - I think some of it is being stuck at my desk all day. I usually do well at home but work is horrible! I dont even wait long enough to eat the next scheduled snack. Any suggestions for the snack attacks? I find I want to crunch - maybe I should buy some of those protein chip things..... Thanks for your thoughts ~ hugs!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Are you hungry, or just bored? Maybe it's the winter blues. Either way, you are probably right about protein snacks. Everything I read says protein helps curb your cravings. Good luck!

my motto has been get up, move around...CHANGE the scene...and find LOADS of healthy snacks that won't be too bad, if you slip....I do know when I "THINK" I'm hungry, I pour on the water...sometimes that works...!

I get them after 3pm when I get home from work. I try to go shopping or to the library. I keep bad things out of the house. I can't eat a lot but I can graze!!!!! I hate exercising but I sure wish I'de get addicted.

The Protein Chips Sure Help Me Alot But At The Same Time You Have To Watch Your Carbs With Them As Well. So I Suggest You Them And Also Some Raw Carrots, Cucumbers, Pickles. That Will Def Help Also. Esp Pickles. They Make You Sooooooooooooo Full

This is about the time that you will start regaining some of the *feelings* that were gone after surgery, due to the stress of the surgery itself. In other words, your system is back up to where it should be--*normal*.
It may be tough, but now is the time to make sure that your new habits stick.
Exercise, balanced eating, good food choices. This is also the time that it's actually fine to up some of your intake. If you've been doing under 1000 kcals, then you should start thinking 1000 kcals, and balance that out with protein first, then the other nutritents. Your body is getting close to the end of the extra calories that you had tucked away in your body, so, your brain is going to start directing you to get in more from the outside, so you can keep on using the old stock, but you have something to build up the new stock for the new you. Don't be afraid of the new stock though, as you do need some stock just in case.
Besides, you say your pouch is working, so that's good, I'm sure you aren't eating the kind of amount you used to, pre op, and couldn't now, even if you tried to.
If you feel you are slacking on your water, be sure to up that, and to keep up with your exercise, even if you feel you are dragging your feet starting up. I'm sure once you get your daily quota done, you're feeling better. Exercise releases happy hormones, so utilize it to your advantage.

(((((((HUGS))))))) Hang in there, Winter blues are tough, but you can beat it, I'm sure.

Yeah, I am feeling the winter blues for sure, and it tends to make me want to be a hermit and I fight grazing like crazy. I just keep fresh fruit in the house, and lots of variety with the fruit helps too. I just keep hoping for an early spring!!
