I have been so pleased with how I look and the changes I have been making, but lets face it, it was winter with long sleeves and jeans.

So, I am now seeing these cute spring and summer things and wondering how they're gonna look......

So, can I move to South America and just live in winter all the time?????

I keep telling myself that I look a heck of a lot better than this time last year; and I know I can't turn back time; there's always plastic surgery, right?

Before I didn't even care about my appearance but now I sortof do and I'm not too excited about what I'm seeing. Plus, I don't really have a sense of style, so I have a lot of learning to do. It's like I need Extreme Makeover or What Not to Wear to take me on as their next challenge. Is this vanity or just another phase in the process? Why can't I just be content with where I am....... Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated. Have a great week

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am having the very same thought that you are having!!!! That is kinda funny that I was just thinking the same thing. What am I gonna wear in the hotter months? I have all sorts of "skin" on me that is well hidden at the moment.

I've been swimsuit shopping - dont know why, I dont need a swimsuit right now - LOL. I found a cute one at Sears that has a tanktop style top with decent support and a cute pair of bottoms that look like short safari shorts. very distracting from our flaws and I could probably wear it anywhere, beach, parks, even amusment parks. It helps with the leg issue I have. Also, I found a really cute top at Target tonite that would look great with those same bottoms at Sears. Havent had much luck with a tank style, and I def need to cover up the girls really well as "they aint what they used to be!!!" Also, I tried on some shorts - bravery or crazy?? - I actually think a 4" midseam looked better than the knee length. Capri's are a great choice too, although I gets so hot here in the summer I just gotta have shorts!!

you are not alone. i cannot offer any advice as i spent most of the past 30 years covered up lol. we'll see what warm weather will bring. i hope not to offend others. the combination of excess skin and gravity has a funny way of doing that... if i could just soak in a vat of skin firming lotion til say...spetember, i think i'd be ok

Yeah, I've had those same thoughts. I'm still trying to decide what is excess skin vs. actual fat. For example, at my waistline in the back, not smooth but not like my belly either. Same goes for the legs; if I could just find waterproof duct tape LOL

I have been wondering this same thing, it is getting warmer here and I dont want my droopy skin showing, I dont think I will be wearing shorts, but capris I will, my thighs are very gross, there is still fat there, but I have lost some so it all moves in one giant chunk, back and forth, back and forth, left and right, too much for anyone to see! And my upper arm "wings" will be hanging out of Tshirts for sure, I wear them around the house already, but NOT out in public, the upper arms just "deflated" and now it hangs down over my elbows, dont know how I will get thru the summer without Tshirts though. It is hot as hell here in the summer.

I never covered up when I was larger...and I felt COMPLETELY comfortable with myself. Now that I have this skin all over the place, I am dreading summer. I look HORRENDOUS in a bathing suit...legs & arms sagging, no bra so no support in a suit...I never had a confidence issue until now...isn't that weird?

Pick up some cute things in the store that you NEVER thought you'd wear and try them on....you'll be surprised! There are so many styles out there now...70's/80's styles making a comeback...and some of the new stuff is really great! I wish I was closer to you...we'd go shopping!

That's just it, Looking at last years pix -eeeek! I guess I just did the best I could with what I had, but now it's sorta like I care more so maybe I notice more? I really didnt think I would consider plastic surgery, or I thought maybe a breast lift and tummy tuck, but, ironically, that's not where I really need surgery, at least right now, it seems worse on my arms and legs. I suppose I will just have to continue my previous mindset of "do the best you can with what you've got".
