Clancy posted recently about this and I just read it and got to thinking, maybe my hub is right, hormones!!!! I have been a nut and I am only getting worse as I lose more weight!!! I have always had Panic Disorder and occasional Depression, and since I went on meds about 7 years ago, I have been good. Now I am seeing a Psychiatrist to try and get on something to level out my chemical imbalance, I am in the "guinnea pig" stage right now and I feel like I am going to lose it!! I ended up in the Pharmacy at Longs last nite in my PJ's, no bra, no shoes, going off on the Pharmacy Tech because they filled my prescription that I dropped off on Tuesday, which they said I would have to come back for on Wednesday. Well I sent my son in for it last nite and they had returned it to stock!!!??? I had no more left at home, so I couldnt wait, besides it is a bit of a drive to town, we are in the mountains. I jumped out of the car in a rage and stormed in, totally looking the part of someone in need of "crazy pills" as we jokingly call them. She said my meds went back to stock, I ask why and she says when they sit too long and nobody picks them up they go back to stock. I dropped it off on Tuesday of this week, it is only Friday!!! She says I can wait 30 minutes and they will have them, then I lose it I say I am in my PJ's no bra, no shoes, I dont HAVE 30 minutes!! My son and his friend are just cowering in the corner and my friends husband is there and I am a LUNATIC for all to see!!! I had a major panic attack on the way back to my car, then I had to drive home all messed up like that!! I sat in bed the rest of the nite and just prayed that I will make it through until there is a med that will fix me. They say that when you lose your mind and are officially crazy, you arent aware of it, so since I am still aware, does that mean I have not lost it yet???????  |

I'm not sure what parts are funny and what parts are not 
You sound like you are a lot better today, able to laugh a bit at it now. Did you wait for the meds last night or did you have to get through it all on your own?
And by the way, sometimes you don't have to have a chemical imbalance to want to just shake someone - restocking your meds after 2 days is ludicrous!

Ok, I'm sorry, but this made me laugh. I can see this in my head as plain as day! My DH did a similar thing once and threw this huge fit at the pharmacy (I was in bed with a migraine and it took them 6 hours to fill my script) so bad and got so mad at them that he came home in a huff and went to bed - for the night. At 3am I crawled out of bed and somehow managed to drive to the pharmacy where they were discussing the mad man and was he coming back??? Picture me, probably in sweats or shorts and probably no bra) with my eyes more shut than open, opening my pills to take and told them, no, I've just been suffering for 10 hours, he's sleeping soundly and not likely to ever come back to their store at which time I left. So, Traci, maybe we're somehow related - LOL. Hold on, honey, it'll get better. Have you been to the gyno? You look young to me, but that stupid "peri-menopause" stage seems to start awefully early.

I've been not so great either - we all have our moments! I'm sorry they did that to you, but hopefully you got your meds! Just imagine what they'll be thinking next time they see you. You should say something smart like maybe next time you won't re-stock my meds as you can clearly see that they help me!

Walgreens is famous for restocking meds after just a couple of days. Unless im sick or its a brand new RX I usually call to have mine filled a couple days ahead of time because it allows them time to fill it without being rushed. And I can still go in and they have restocked them. I dunno if its because they fill so many or what. Im like you I have a good drive to even get to a pharmacy and its soooooooooooo annoying to have that happen. Good luck with your new thearpy honey. You might want to let them know what you did so they can help you along a bit more. Take care.
