Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Am I crazy or what?!? Now that I am losing weight and my clothes are getting bigger I can't get up the courage to give away the big clothes. In the back of my mind I keep thinking that this will fail some day and I will end up back at my larger size and will need these clothes again. Getting new wardrobes is very expensive so I want to box up the big stuff and save it in the basement. I know you are supposed to get rid of the big things and believe that you will never be that size again but I just can't seem to get there. Any of you share this feeling with me?

I have all my cloths in a big box ready for the rummage sale we are going to have at my daughters place in June. I only kept one pair of pants and a top for a reminder of how heavy I was. As far as getting rid of the cloths I have no problem with that but now on the other hand my husband wants me to keep the big red winter coat that is way to big for me. I told him what do I want to keep that coat for he said that I might fit back into it one day. I told him there is no way in HELL that I am ever going to FIT into that COAT again, that there is no way that I am going to GAIN that weight BACK again. It is going to the rummage sale no matter what I do not want to see that coat again, it is a beautiful coat but why save it. I am determined to keep off that weight, I was just so tired of being so heavy and I am not going back there again. I know what it is like to be on the other side of the coin. I am going to be here for a long time to come becasue I need everyone on here to keep me in line with everything. Hope nobody gets tired of me on here.

Sure to goodness that day happened. As for the ones you have grown out of......Honey there are so many people out there that need them. I take mine to the Goodwill. Coats and shoes go to a mental hosptial nearby. If you find the need to keep a couple do so..... but let the rest go just like you let the weight go. |
