For the first time ever in my life, TOM came two weeks early, meaning I started 14 days after I started for the month. It is a heavy flow and I knew it was coming on because I wanted to eat everything in site, but seeing as how I have never started early, I didn't think it was TOM. But to my surprise it was TOM and it is really freaking me out that I am having two periods this month. My questions are this - is this a normal thing for someone almost a year out? I am anemic so this worries me to have a period twice in one month. I was very sick last week with a viral thing going around the school and the doctor put me on antiobiotics (750 Levaquin) because any cold goes straight to a sinus and ear infection for me. Could that stress on my body cause this? I am not really crampy or anything, but my energy level is so down. Has anyone else ever had this? I had polycystic ovarian disease before surgery, so I rarely had a normal TOM. But since surgery, it was has been like clockwork, every 28 days. Also, some of you may have remembered me talking about my cousin who was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. He is 17 and means the world to me. I thought I would share this link to his story that ran in the paper this weekend. Tazewell’s Rasnick Puts Faith Above Fear, Remains Positive | TriCities

Maybe Doc can add some light to this for you. I do know stress can cause it to happen or it did to me when I still had TOM. I read the article and hes a very strong willed and inspirational young man. I will pray for him and hope this surgery takes care of things for good. I read in the paper they were closing a school in Tazwell is this the one you teach at ? |

Anything goes until your weight has been settled for a time, and you are comfortably into your maintenance stage. I would suggest you go to your gyn, though. Lisa?fr1endly2 had some heavy and irregular TOM and needed D/C to correct it, so it's best to be checked out. Your cousin is one wonderful guy. I'm sure he'll win. (((((HUGS)))))

No, thankfully that is not my school. I feel for them though. I know it is hard. My entire family has graduated from Tazewell High and I dreamed of teaching there. As for my cousin, he was told that his tumor was now dead and not attached to any muscle - best case scenario for anyone getting ready to go into surgery on June 16 for his tumor. Praise God.
