Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Moving Along  Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've been here. So much has been happening. On June 25, I will be having surgery to have a tumor removed from my overies. After that I have to have surgery to repair an umbillical hernia. I have been feeling better than I have in a long time and my doctors say I'm doing great. Personally, I feel that I'm not losing a whole lot of weight. My surgery was 01/22/08 and to date I've lost about 97 lbs. I don't know if this is going slow or if I'm on track as far as weight loss. I have been going through therapy to help with recovering from the loss of my Mom the day I came home from having my Gastric Bypass surgery. I miss her so much. I wish she was here to see how I'm doing. She was so worried about me going through my surgery. Well, I hope now that I will be able to visit here more often as I will now have more time for other things.

You've lost just under half of what you expect to lose with a little over a month left till your 6 month anniversary, so I'd say you're right on spot with your weight loss. I am sorry to hear about your mother, but I'm sure she's happy with how you are dong, and is watching over you. I'm sorry also to hear that you have upcoming surgery, good luck, but I'm sure you'll do well there, too. (((((HUGS)))) May your journey go well.
