| WLS Mentor  |  my little secret  You have all commented in the past on my patients with the waiting game for the surgery, so now i will let you in on a little secret. The only reasons i have been able to become so tolerant of the wait is partly this board and all of the awesome support and inspiration i have found here. and the other part is realizing that this will happen if it's in God's will for me. His time is not our time. There is a passage in the bible about God clothing the birds of the field and that the birds don't worry from day to day where they will find their sustanance and this really helps me to remember. I am trying to put my faith in his hands, not just with this surgery but with everything in my life. I look at all of my blessings and realize that God has always provided what i needed just at the time it was needed. Even some of the bad times in my life have been blessings because looking back those things have helped me to become who i am today. If some of those things hadn't have happened i wouldn't be the me i share with you all now.so if you are down about things, try to remember that God works in mysterious ways and even if we don't see where he's going with something it will work out in the end. It may take years to see the actual desired result, but eventually it will be made available for youto understand.
