Unhappy Feel like something is missing I don't feel Good...

Hello Guys,

It has been a while since my last confession wow this feels like confession, after vacation I started to notice many changes in my body as well with my clothing, nevertheless I dont feel motivated, I don’t feel the same push as before.
I wonder if any of you have felt the same way, right now I don’t care about food anymore and I am getting tired of changing clothes very often now.
I really need something to motivate me, yes I have my family and they sure support me but I feel that something is missing.
The 3 principal things (I guess) are covered, home, family and work, but I feel something needs to be added, I don’t have issues with the higher authority (God). But still something is bugging me. I was hoping that while writing these lines something would come up to brighten some ideas.
Can anyone in the audience tell me if they experienced anything similar like me?
I am now almost 10 months post operation have gone from 313 to 229 pounds from size 44 to size 36 so why do I feel incomplete.
I should be happy but feel depress.
I appreciate the feedback.

Luis

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Getting depressed even though things are moving well is quite common. All it may take is a little pick me up. Or, you may need professional help, so consider that. Do you have a PCP to talk to? You moved recently, didn't you? Adjusting to that as well also adds to the stress. Find someone you can talk to about this to help you out.
Also, reading some inspirational posts on here, and elsewhere may help you too.
Have you read da perfesser's very inspirational post?
http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...ey-so-far.html
If not, please do so, if may give you a little lift.
((((((HUGS)))))) Hope you'll be able to get back to your joyful self soon.

Hang in there you have done so well. Depression is not fun! Try and push yourself a little by taking a walk with the family. Just getting out and moving should help your outlook.

Did you move to Milwaukee after all or did I read you went to Illinois? Sorry I forgot. Either way lots of things going on in both cities. Try and enjoy the summer days/nights by heading to a festival or to Navy Pier. I think there is an airshow coming up. I love to watch those.

Stay put here and we'll try to walk you through this.

As my Granny would say "you got something stuck in your craw?" Not sure what that means, but I totally understand the feeling you are talking about, except that I know what's stuck in my craw ~~~LOL!

I wish I could jump into the deep abyss, down under and pass all the crap that I'm dealing with right now- just get past it and on to better times. Keep your eye on the "light at the end of the tunnel" things do have a way of getting better and working out. Sorry I'm so full of cliche's, hope you feel better soon~~~

I am so sorry that you are feeling like this...you are at about the same point as I was when I started feeling a lil depressed over things, even when they were good things.
The emotional ride is definately a bumpy one...this too shall pass. You are doing fantastic though!!

for all you've gone through, I'd say COMPLETELY normal....I think we "padded" ourselves when we were larger....had thicker skin.....as we change in this journey, our vulnerabilities are closer to the surface...(less padding LOL).

We have to re-learn a lot about ourselves and it's not always easy.....this journey is 20% physical.....80% mental.....a lot of us are going through this right now....but different people cope in different ways. Tell your doctor (as nearly as you can) what's going on. Perhaps some counseling or short term medication plan will hellp!

I think most of know exectly what you're talking about. I know I definitely do. This journey is as much an emotional one as a physical one. I know I wasn't prepared for the emotional toll this surgery took on me. My doc wisely kept me on my antidepressant because of the risk of depression following this procedure and I'm so glad he did. I have actually thought about calling for a increased dose!

I guess that what you are saying is part of the problem I have been moving from one place to another first wisconsin, then chicago, (boy it is getting very frustrating). anyway some of the thoughts here will bring some light and let me figure out something... it gets lonely to be on the road for so long not used to that..... (I am starting to hate it)
