Well here I am again. Popping in. I do feel bad however I have not stayed up to date on things in here. I had swore to myself to never do that but between LIFE I have had no choice.
Yall know our puter DIED. Well yea it complety died. Good Riddins. LOL.
The hubby will be getting a new one for xmas however..... I stopped the internet on it because no sense of having a internet connection if we didnt have a computer. Anyways..... Some time after the first of the year I will be back and blazing im sure.
Update time.
I still love my job. Work is great simply great. How many people can say that? But........ I have been very ill also.
I come home on a Friday nite after work feeling great. Went to bed and about 4:30am I woke my husband up buy slamming my head into his back. He stated he got up and cut on the light and then found me in the floor between the bed and my cedar chest. I remember nothing about this what so ever. When I became coherent i was vomiting in my hand just a bit and then dont remember anything else for several hours. My husband told me he stated to me several times he was calling the resucue squad and refused to let him. In the course of about 8 hours it seems I had 6 seizures. Lasting from 2 mins to 10. When i became accutally aware of things again about 400 pm the same day was when I woke up and decided I needed to pee. Well The bathroom is only like 10 steps from my bedroom door. I got up and went 2 steps and was down like a rock. I remember this. Now see this got me worried. I couldnt stand up because I would pass out. My little brother come over and my son and got me in the car and took me to the ER. It seems...... i was severly anemic and had seizures. My count was 6 and 19. Its supposed to be 13 and atleast 34-40. Yea a tad low eh?
They admitted me to the ICU and I was given 4 units of blood and so many test. I seems I have what they think may be a putitary gland tumor. I have had several MRIs CT scan etc. The gland is abnormal in size.
I also didnt have any blood so that may have caused the seizures. Either way............. I am now on seizure medications Rx Iron again and Rx Vitamins. In the state of Virginia I am not allowed to drive for 6 months after any seizure activity. Yep the Dr turns you into the DMV. This in turn means that......my hubby will have to drive me to work and come back and get me. Yes its a 40 minute drive one way.
Back to the blood thing..... after recieveing 4 units of blood and while in ICU they had to give me 2 more units. Bringing me to a total of 6. I was released the day before thanksgiving. I see a Gastro Dr in Janurary and he will we scoping top and bottom if you know what i mean to make sure im not bleeding internally.
From what i was told today they do think these are seperate matters and one didnt have anything to do with the other. We shall see.
I have gotten permission however to return to work on Monday. I see a Neurologist the day after xmas for my follow up visit.
So inturn since the last time I talked to yall I have picked up a
Endriocronologist
Gastrointerologist
Neurologist
Internal Medicine Dr.
So...... any one wanna take one of these off my hands? LOL. I will let yall know how things turn out as I see these people.
If I dont get back before Xmas have a great and Merry Christmas. I love you all and Im very blessed to still be with yall at times. I cant wait to come back and post daily like i used to.
