|  Journey of 10,000 miles
As Confuscius said a journey of 10,000 miles starts but with a single step. I have taken that first step with Roux-n-y on 13 November of 2008. My start weight was 517 and as of the 3rd of February I am at 447.
I had some problems along the way. My surgery was suppose to have been laproscopic, I also had a hernia and gall bladder removed at the same time. I came out of surgery quite rough and was in ICU for a week. Then two weeeks later I developed a GI bleed (from medication reaction which caused an ulcer) and lost 9 units of blood (the body holds on the average 10!).
Another old saying that which does not kill you makes you stronger. Hello y'all.
