Default 2 mos. out and stopped losing

I am a few days shy of 2 mos. out of surgery and seemed to have stopped losing. I dont think my weight has changed in a week to 10 days. Feeling down about it...unsure whats happening. Doc said all my bloodwork looked great...but i wish i was still losing, even a little.

Confused and disappointed

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

(((((HUGS)))) This is ooooh so normal, however frustrating it is.
The rest of your body is trying to catch up with the rapid weight loss that you are experiencing. Your entire system took a great big hit a couple of months ago, so it needs to realign everything as well as heal, and that takes time and effort.
Don't depend on just your scale to measure how you are progressing, when the scale is not moving, is when the inches move. So, check how your clothes are fitting, some clothes that you think are still too small for you may fit, or you may even have skipped their sizes. This is why we all say take your measurements in inches. Seeing the inches move when the scale doesn't should help lift your spirits.
Also make sure that you are right on spot with the 60g protein, 64oz water, no drinking with meals and for at least 30 mins after, and regular exercise even if it's just a daily 30 minute walk.
Stick to the plan and your scale numbers will start moving again.

Been There/Done That a couple of times. You will lose again if you stick to plan. It's hard but you will get to the other side and start losing again. I've been sitting at 201 for a week and a half and finally went down to 200 yesterday. Wanted to reach 199 by Easter, but it didn't happen. Oh well!!!!

Keep you chin up and try not to scale watch too much.. easier said than done.

The surgery is doing it's job regardless what a piece of man made equipment says. Pay more attention to your life and less to numbers. You are losing more than just numbers after a surgery this changing.

welcome to your first of several stalls along your journey...if you go back a couple of years ago, you will see me COMPLETELY in FREAK OUT MELT DOWN MODE...then you'll see Doc telling me it's OK!!!

Your body is trying to catch up and hang on to what it has...you are doing major adjusting right now......lock the scales up...don't go near them...but here's the IMPORTANT thing....STICK TO YOUR PLAN...as long as you have your plan in place, you have NO CHOICE but to lose!!! It will start back up...we promise!!!!

I am sure this will turn around soon. Be patient---you will get in the scale one day and see 10 pounds gone almost overnight!! Don't worry so much about the numbers, you are still losing even if the scale does not show it right now.

Wink Reassured

I was worried during my first "stall" at 2 months out and u guys came to my rescue and reassured me about weight loss picking back up and even about seemingly losing inches when no weight was dropping. Thanks to all who replied and encouraged me.
