Unhappy Nervous now

Ok.. so.. I have my date all set up. May 6th. I have ppl to take my son for the few days, I have ppl to pick me up ALLL the way in ocala, and I have my eating plan set up and ready to go. Im also have my liquid diet underway and I think I have everything packed that I will need for my stay.

Just have to do my ekg, xray, and blood work today and im set and ready to go.

Now is where I have problems. Cuz now my brain is starting to THINK. I know.. i know.. thinking is dangerous.. now Im starting to panic. And I can only do so much cleaning. Im living with my parents while my husband was oversea's and I was pregnant, and my dad put his hand to my forehead and said "do ya have a fever" LIke it was some big thing that I was cleaning everything. I clean.. i guess this is just a feverish cleaning.

Ive never been in a sugery. Never had anything done to me never had general or twilight anethesia.. nada.. never even done a Local anethesia.. oh.. unless you count epidural. But I was in labor, and I would have done anything to get the induced labor to stop.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi, just wanted to say good luck. I had gastric on the 18 of March. I was nervous, my mom came to stay with me. I was in hospital for 2 nights, came home and in two weeks was ready to take care of myself. My mom not so ready to go home. It's all relative no pun intended. Best thing I ever did. The surgery I mean. I'm down 36 pounds in 5 weeks. The pain gets better. Life gets better. My first surgery ever too. Everything will be great. Just remember, feeling great and healed are two different things, don't do too much too quick. Still healing inside, I figured that out the hard way. Keep us posted and we'll see you on our side of the loser's bench!! Sip sip sip, protein protein protein

My date is May 6th too!!!!!! Our life changing journey will be at the same time. Isn't that neat. I wish you all the luck in the world and then some. Don't sweat the surgery thing, I'm sure you will do wonderful. Keep me posted on you status. And doubting and panicking seem to be very normal. I've spent the past several days since I got my date just reflecting on my life. So I think a little panic and worry is normal.

it is completely natural to get nervous - just don't focus on being nervous, it can be consuming. your surgery will be here before you know it. you are going to do GREAT!
btw, may 6th is an awesome day to have weight loss surgery, it was a lucky day for me!

Well, actually, it's not all that important that you have never had surgery. Your part in it is rather passive anyway. What IS important is that your surgeon has done this before!! You get to sleep through it, he has to stand there and stay awake!!

You'll be fine. If you're really nervous when you get there, tell them and they can slip a little happy juice into your IV.

Good luck!

lol ty everyone, im super excited and yes.. i have a doctor that is NUMBER ONE in the state of FL for this sugery... so i feel good.. he's got the excellance thingy ma bob, i forget whats it called. LOL and yeah Perf I do get the easy part. YAY whiz im excited we get to do it together

Im just worried about my son. I know they said no BLT's.. bending lifting or twisting.. i can comply with almost all of that except for the lifting my son out of the crib or putting him in. /grumble grumble where is my husband when i really need him. I think me and my son will just live on the floor for the first few weeks. I was thinking about just putting a quilt on the carpet in the living room and just sleeping out there with him. I got him this like.. trike thing that i can just push.. so.. there will be a bit of bending and minimal lifting.. but im really worried about it.
I really wish i could have put this back a month till my husband is here.. but.. it was now or not for months..
its like my school.. i had to do it now.. or it would have been pushed back and pushed back.. always putting it off.
I should really figure out a way to lay off.. im always pushing myself and running around.. ya think i would learn by now..

and im off again.. my son is laughing in his crib, standing up.. his new thing.. instead of sleeping like he SHOULD BE.. /turns around and im giving him the mommy stare.

and he laughs.. what a turd pump lol
