Default hello everyone

Hello all you wonderful people,
I didn't come on here and post to whine, but am very very down today. I am very happy with my weight loss thus far HONEST I AM, but today is one of those days where I am just down about things. THE BIGGEST BEING MY HANGIN SKIN FROM THE WEIGHT LOSS. I anticipated having having extra skin, dont get me wrong. It's just that it's now a constant reminder of how overweight I really was. I suppose everyone goes through those phases, but it's hard to work through. Knowing, though, I am doing exercises, walking 4 miles per day, and toning exercises helps, but at times, like today, it's not enough. My wife is great with the support I need, HONESTLY, but it's not the same as posting on here and getting replies from people who have been through it and are currently going through it. I should be on top of the world right now having currently lost 65 pounds to date, AND I AM, but I sure do hope that this phase doesn't last toooooooo long.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

welcome Mike we're all in the same boat. I hate my hanging batty arms, drapery thighs, the skin hanging from my back ( I don't leave the house without the waist and back tights!) For me I got to lose another adult person and having excess skin is something I do expect. I workout too and I weight lift as well I have good toned bicep muscle but the skin hanging from the bottom of my arm has no solution except the knife!

I'm ready for the fact that after I reach my WLS target and sustain it I will go for a major plastic surgery. In most probably I'll do it after I bring a 3rd child (this is my husband's wish, he wants a boy. We have 2 girls now)

What you're going through is something normal, the ups and downs will come and go whether because of the skin problem or for any other reason. I've noticed that my emotions have been fluctuating in a crazy manner expecially post-op.

So bother calm down, and look at half of the glass full. When have you ever lost that much of weight in that short period of time?! Lift your chin up and be proud of yourself.

Regards,
Hanadi

THANKS CHUPPY,
I am glad to hear that about the emotion thing. I do know that I am not alone at least with this kind of battle with all of you people hear to lend such awesome support. You are right though about the weight loss. I am very proud of myself for going this far and with no problems. I will get through this little downside of the weightloss. GOOD LUCK WITH THE BABY BOY THING. LOL I wanted a boy to, every guy does I think. I GOT MINE ON THE SECOND TRY. Then, went for a third and final try for whatever sex and got TWINS. LOL GOOD LUCK! LOL

Talking Your welcome

twin girls/boys? hehehe cute see how God is so generous with us!! My dearest friend she got triplet twins (girl-boy-boy). She gave up the idea for almost 12 years and God was/is good with her and gave her instead of one kid, 3 Yikessssssss!
It's hard to manage one crying kid at night, how if with twins or triplets heheheheh

I'm happy that I brought the smile to your face. I can't be thankful to God enough that he guided me to know everyone of you in the RR family

Default hey again!

hey chuppy,
LOL! Well, the wife and I had a girl first, 8 days lacking a year later, we had our son, and 15 months later BOOM we got the twins {two girls}. LOL FOUR KIDS IN 27 MONTHS, FROM THE TIME OUR FIRST ONE WAS BORN. YES, we work fast, but I wouldn't trade any of them. THEY ARE ALL MY PRIDE AND JOYS. It was hard for the first few years, but we feel now, like we will be young enough still to enjoy our life and grandchildren after our kids leave the nest. NOT, FOR THE RECORD, IT ISN'T FULL OF FUN AND SURPRISES NOW WITH TEENS AND PRETEENS IN THE HOUSE. YIIIIIIIIIIIKES! SOME DAYS LOL. WAIT TIL YOU TELL HUBBY ABOUT THIS ONE HUH? LOL

THANKS FRIENDLY,
I don't know what happened today. I got up and just felt icky about what I saw. Instantly, was depressed. That set the mood for the whole day. I feel great, but can't get the floppy bod out of my head. The thing that helps me a little is the fact that it could be worse, and think to myself look at the people who are much larger than I was. Then, I think to myself, what a jerk. I feel like i am pregnant or something, with the mood swings. lol SO TO SPEAK. I know I will get through this though with such awesome people like you and so many others on the site. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT HON DEAR GIRL.

Hi Mike. I hear ya on the moods and feelings with the hanging skin. I try and remember how I felt a year ago. Very unhealthy and nearly hopeless of ever being able to feel much better. I had sort of run out of options.
Now when I see my gobbler neck or sagging skin in all the oter areas I think at least I'm going in the right direction and God willing, I'll be able to take care of all the extra skin when it's time.
Feel better and post often. I find that talking with everyone here really boosts my mood and resolve.

Anytime Mike. We're all in this together.
Wish I lived closer to you....I'd love to have someone to walk with. I went to the town pool @ 4PM. There was a kid's BD party going on but still got in 40 minutes of good swimming.
4 miles of walking is great!!! Walking helps to get those frustrations out, huh? I should of done some of that today instead of being a slug all day. lol
Glad you feel better.
