Default Thirsty Anyone?

Hey everyone,
I have to ask this question. I am like thirsty all the time. NO LIE! When I eat my meals, especially if it is meat, I stay full like forever, and I can't drink because I feel so full. Eating meat for me, makes me stay full for like 4-5 hours at a time. NO ROOM FOR WATER. I know I am not getting enough water, or I wouldn't be thirsty. RIGHT? I need a little help in dealing with this problem. I do eat the meat though, becuase of the protein, but sometimes I don't want to because of the thing with being thirsty all the time. I really don't feel like I have a medical problem or anything, I just think it's because after eating the meat, I stay full for such a long time. WHAT CAN I DO, IF ANYTHING? HELP!!!!!!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Have you tried to sip constantly even if you are not feeling thirsty?

I would say that thristy feeling in your mouth
is due to being in "FAT BURNING" MODE of ketosis.
That does put a taste in our mouth and makes us thristy.

(some complain of bad breath) ...keep up the great
work and the more you drink that feeling easies from
ketosis! FAT burning is were you want your body to be
from the high protein eating.

Hi Mike, I'm usually thirsty too. I normally wait about 30 mins after my meal and just start sipping water even if I still feel full. If I dont' then my mouth dries out big time and that drives me nuts. I wake up with a dry mouth every morning too and the first thing I want to do is chug some water of course there is no chugging..lol

I had that issue too Mike. Just do what you can and you will be okay. I did hate the no chugging factor early out. Just be patient...you may never be able to chug like you used to, but it does get better later out.

Mike I actually feel the same thing. I am 3 weeks out and can not get enough to drink. Its been really hard for me to not drink 30 minutes before a meal and wait 30 minutes after. Also one thing that is helping me is sucking on ice chips. I used to hate plain water, today I love it, I would choose it over anything else now.

I can drink water fast now and chug alug.

I do water loading at times before meals

I wish I had that problem. I am 1 week out today. I had my surgery on the 18th of October and ended up back in the hospital from dehydration and low sugar. I am the opposite of you I am not even thirsty, not hungry, nothing at all. I find it very hard to get my 64 ounces in each day and right now that is all i can do is take fluids and I don't want them. I wish I had the too thirsty problem Hopefully by next week I will want more fluids. So be very careful it does not take much to get dehydrated.
I wish you luck!

Tra....

COME HERE ((((HUG)))))!!!!
SORRY you had a minor set back of dehydration and lo sugar levels.
AT the beginning you just have to do the best you can with getting
in drinks and food. JUST sip sip sip little bit all day. I found
warm broth felt best for me at that stage and went down
better.
EACH day and week gets better and easier.
I look forward to getting to know you
thru ur posts!
AND feel free to PM me if you have questions
or need more support
