|  Pillows Needs Prayers! HEY EVERYONE, I just got done chatting with pillows, and she is getting down about her hubby's deployment. He is finding out the details about where he is going and when he leaves. I really feel for her right now. It can't be an easy time for her. I told her chin up and try to be strong for her beautiful kiddies. Could everyone just say a prayer for her and her family while going through this tough time in her life.  mike p.s. Height: | Thanks to everyone right now. I knew that this time would be coming and have been trying my best to prepare for it emotionally, but it is different once the moments actually arrive. It is kind of like the surgery in that way. You can try to prepare all you want mentally beforehand, but it is quite different on d-day so to speak. I know that I have a great support network here and many friends to rely on so that helps immensely. I think the worst thing that had me shook up today was when hubby told me about one of the possible locations he could be deployed and from the sounds of it, it is a bit more dangerous than the other locations we were expecting. Don't get me wrong....we knew the risks when we joined and are ready to face them, but it did come as a shock. I will be glad to have the information in my head when it comes so I can start dealing with it. I hate the whole not knowing aspect. Hopefully we will also find out approximately when he is leaving and for how long. As for the wanting to be rid of hubby for a little while.... I can understand that thought and have to admit I have my moments where I look forward to only having myself and the kids to take care of, but deep down inside I am still afraid of all the unknown things ahead for us in the next year and any prayers would be much appreciated. Height: | Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. The news isn't exactly what I had hoped for. He is going to a slightly more scary local than I originally expected, he is going for 6 months, and he isn't leaving until the end of February at the soonest. This means that we won't be able to do anything this summer like go home. He will be deployed for the whole summer vacation. I was really hoping that if he went for six months, they would at least put him in the January bucket so he could have a bit of vacation with us while Brendon isn't in school. There were so many things I wanted to do with him next summer like go to Washington DC and NYC a lot and to maybe hit up Sesame Place again. Oh well I am sure that I will get to do some of those things, just not with my hubby here. I have a feeling that the next few months will go by pretty quickly, but I will appreciate the fact that I get to spend the holidays together and his 30th birthday together. Again thanks for being such good friends to me and all your well wishes. Janae |
