Default Clothes moving again.

Well I have been lucky in having to keep my jeans on me now for about 3-4 months. I chose them in different cuts so a couple would do at first then the last two could do when the others started getting way to big.

Losing the weight makes you not take cold as well so the jeans were a good thing to use up until this point. So 4 pairs of jeans almost lost.... LOL. I did get good use out of them however not buying any more than those on purpose and getting good wear from them. The bra situation is in need of a fix again also. The dreaded bra....... Yall know what I mean now about getting into one comfortable and making it work for more than a week.

So I think the last couple will take me through the summer on cooler days. I need shorts but not gonna over do it..... just lord help me bra shopping I might go missing. LOL I do have the type I have worn in the last while which did amazingly well. Im gonna try to find them again in smaller sizes and hope they fit as well as the last did. Crossing fingers. I have never been that lucky.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I know what you mean about the jeans but yesterday I went to Salvation Army and got 2 pairs of jeans,2 capris,2 shirts and a jacket all for 20.00 and when I am done with them I can turn them back in and get a tax credit.

Thanks Kenya. I didnt wanna make a big explosion outta me reaching goal. As we know those last couple pounds mean alot. I still weigh like normal which isnt often but I knew I was almost there even being like 8 pounds above it the last weigh before the final one! LOL. I know that dont make sense. Thank you so much. Im gonna go in Victorias Secret again and get measured. I plan on that this weekend or soon for sure. They have been good at measureing me and not putting pressure on me about buying there stuff. My hubby however is like oh if that fits please get it! LOL. He was asking them about that water bra the last time.

Babs yes I do goodwill salvation army etc. That is what kept me in clothes for the longest time right after surgery along with clothes I had put back saying ok one day I will fit in them. I have donated everything that was larger back out. Except 2 tops and 2 bottoms just in case. Each size I move down I get a new bag to take in. I dont worry about what if. I cant. The last about 50 pounds have been very nice and slow on me. I like it best that way. The first 100 I lost so fast my brian didnt keep up with it nor did my body or energy. So in losing the last its helped me manage my clothing so much better and I did feel like I deserved 4 brand new pair! They werer not expensive. All under 20 bucks. Thanks for Lee Riders. Acutally a couple of them come from Walmarts Day after thanksgiving sale and cost me 8 bucks a piece. So.........mm a guess 2 pair of them lasted me 7-8 months? WOW even better. I dont like tight jeans. I do like various cuts. The slim leg ones are a bit lower cut but not to low so I wear them with a shirt that covers the tummy well and dont show any skin bulding like a muffin. The others are different also and hold that skin in.

You know what Dixie I have no idea but we should! Your close do just follow what your doing and you will arrive I promise. Just nice and slow like a landing. Well that is how I took it anyways. You know I dont know exaclty when I ever weighed this and never had a good time with it I know. I think it was like 9th grade and at that age I was still fat to alot ya know. Time will tell and mabye it will get mental with me also. So far as that goes where now it hasnt hit me. Now it has hit me in other ways but not to the goal part and what now. Im enjoying it rightnow. So a pledge now. Mmmm Someone is gonna have to work on that one for us. Ct has excellent word skills dont he........

I know what your saying, about the clothes, throwing out the bras...lol. I'm still not loosing much........ just a lb a months seems like, I hope this is still a plataeu. So, my clothes have been fitting for a while. I'm still in 18 but I have went from 18 tight to 18 loose on me so thats good. The bra thing is ongoing here too and you need so much support now too. I can still wear those at Lane Bryant so I would be lost going elsewhere. When I wear one with lots of support my waist underneath is allot smaller and gives me more of an hourglass shape. Thats my biggest compliments lately and my face is soooo slimmer.

Congrats on under goal and that is way under for Dr. Q...lol You should send him a pick. I would love to be in the 160's again. Trying not to get too discouraged on the no/slow weightloss right now and my 1 year is coming up in 1 month. I was so hoping to be out of the 200's. But I am happy with my health and progress to date, hope it continues.

You have done so great. Hurray!! Now your not concentrating on loosing, the next step is conentrating on maintaining. That will be new to learn for us all.

Terri your at the point right now I started to just slowly losing them little by little. A pound a month mabye a couple somtimes nothing. I wondered about this stage myself. Yep on Dr Q and the 230 goal he set. My goal was 170. Just one pound in the not overweight part of the BMI and trying to be realistic. Your losing in your face is a big part of it to. Its that parts time to slim out. I think they all take turns I really do. What you eating is what I am. Dont fret that. Eat like you and and it will continue to move. I mean on day you gonna get on that scale and a bucnch is gone. Then it may stay then one pound or two down......trickle. Its strange. We all wish it would move off like it did at first the honeymoon stage get it gone and maintian. As you see it dont happen that way. The ones of us whom had more to lose it WILL take longer. I will say this over and over again I would have rather lost it slowly than fast. The first 100 come off in a blink and my body paid for that. Its going slow now and that is when I actually felt better. Upon looking at stat remember they didnt weigh the same as yourself or your height or have Dr Q do it.

You will lose more I do promise that.

Msvickie, you are a gorgeous lady and you have comes such a long ways and I am so happy for you and Congrads to getting to your goal. I seem to be stuck since last fall and no matter what I do I cannot budge the scale. But I have noticed that some tops are getting loser on me. I am so active and keeping up with my big garden and I love working in it. I work in it just about everyday. I feel so wonderful and nothing makes me tired, I feel like I can go on forever. Like the duracell bunny. I was working in my garden last night until a little past 10 at night. I was determined to get my garden hoed and weeded. Hubby locked the door and I could not get in the house and asked him why he locked the door and that I was working in the garden and he said he could not see me becasue it was so dark outside, and thought I was in the house. Wow, I did not even notice that it was that dark outside, just noticed the mosquitoes where getting bad. I must have night vision LOL. You have done such a great job with your weight loss. Congrads!!!!!
