Why is this being posted again..I thought we don't promote other sites here? If that policy has changed it would be good for all to know so they can post their own links to other people's sites, etc.

Just curious here. Why doesn't she just post a blog on this site for everyone to benefit from?

I saw a link to this and I knew Dr. Sanae was a highly respected member here. I appreciated her posting it and wanted to say thanks. I was not aware I was breaking a rule and only responded to someone else that had already posted a link to my blog.

It's a personal blog, not a promotion of a specific clinic or commercial information sites which are cleverly disguised as personal blogs, so it's fine. I actually have CraigT's okay for this. I posted the link because I liked the article and thought it would be useful for our members. Posting a complete copy of it outright would be infringing on her copyright, after all

We allow links to personal blogs of members in their siggys so long as they don't have any intended promotion of specific business. Of course, may blogs have Google ad links to supprot maintaining them. As long as the ads aren't the main feature, it's fine. If there are any questions, I always run it by CraigT.
We also have Interesting WLS Sites - Weight Loss Surgery Forums - RenewedReflections　where you can post links to WLS sites that you might have found useful.
