Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  who is she who can that woman be? she looks so familiar to me i wonder have i seen her before? a chance meeting?maybe more as i stand there staring,searching my mind hoping for an answer,a revalation i might find. for she is beautiful and good and full of life a friend? a mother? someones wife? i look away and then back again remembering where it is i have been the woman stares back as if reading my thoughts as if seeing thru to the battles i've fought then just like a tidal wave rolling from the sea it hits me,that woman is me. many battles i have fought trying to get here all of them hard but each of them dear. that woman in the mirror i have found out is what my journey has been about. i am a new woman in spite of myself no longer the doll sitting upon the shelf life is good and i take it one day at a time for it is a gift to me,i will make it mine. who is she? that beautiful woman in the mirror is me. -christyblue-

| WLS Mentor  | Christy we are are own worst critic. I think you definatly have talent. Maybe your just discovering it but don't let it go. I'm glad that you like my poetry. But i'd love to see more from you and anyone else who feels like taking a hand to it. If you write whats in your heart its not to hard. Keep up writting. |
