Default Down In the Dumps

I just found out that my insurance does not cover the WLS. I appealed and it was denied. I cannot afford to pay out right for the surgery; I guess that I am feeling pretty low about now. I seem to have lost my motivation.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awww, ((((((((HUGS)))))))
Is there any way you can change your insurance? Or the chance that the policy will change when your workplace renews the contract?
I know it is very discouraging, but please don't take it out on food, it will make you feel worse in the end, not better.

I'm feeling your pain.... I found out today my insurance won't pay for my surgery either. Even though I'm feeling totally defeated, I'm going to try to find a way to make this happen. I hope you can too.... hang in there!

Default Ugh, noura

That would get anyone down. Insurance companies are very paticular these days. When it is medically needed to be done, I hate that the insurance companies have the last say in the matter. Personally, I don't think it should be there decision to make, but I don't make the rules. I feel if you have to get a second, or even third opinion to override the insurance company, then so be it. Hang in there kiddo. I know it seems impossible right now, but where their is a will, there is a way. Lean on us right now for support. We are here for you.

Noura,
I am so sorry. I too am waiting for the insurance to agree to my surgery. I try to stay positive but at times I too get very discouraged. I pray that you will find a way to get the surgery, don't give up, stay the course.
