Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Finally got my date Hi to all, I finally am going to have my surgery!!! My date is Mar. 29th, I'm excited, happy, nervous and oh so ready  . It's been 4 months of gathering all this great info, support groups, testing etc., not to mention the researching I've done for 2 years. I know that's something all of you have done also, so you know the anxiety I am feeling. I'll let you know how all goes once it's done. Good luck to anyone else who is also having it done. DianeB

It took me a year to get to the point that I was ready for WLS in my life...and then 8mos. to get thru the Insurance 'Red Tape!'.....Sooo exasperating.... I'm glad you made it thru...and you are just 12 days from your surgery! What are your pre-op requirements? Tell us about yourself....where are you from, how old are you? Are you married or single? do you have children? What do you do for a living....or day to day?! I'm live in NYC...am 38 and married with one 3yo daughter.
