Happy 2nd surgeversary to me!!! Well, no I have not met goal, but I am healthier than I was two years ago. As some of you know, I've had some bumps along the way, but if I had to do it over again, I definitely would. Right now, I still can't exercise due to foot surgery, but I am still trying to watch my eating and water intake. I have my 2-year follow-up on Monday, and I will tell the doc I'm not where I want to be, but I'm a long way from where I was. I remember my 1-year follow up from last year. The nurse told me not to lose any more weight because she didn't want me to look sick. I still want to lose about 20 more, but I'll have to see what my body says.
Also, as a follow-up to my friend's baby --he was transferred to a specialty hospital and is doing better. He is not out of the woods yet, and will probably have to have a minimum of 2 more surgeries, but most of the negative things the other hospital was telling the family cannot be found now. The other hospital said he would have brain damage--the new hospital can't see it. So we all are very happy about his prognosis. Thanks for all your support and prayers for him.
