Default Yesterday's High and Low Points

High: Yesterday, I had my psych eval and was told that I will be getting his approval/clearance for wls in his report! Yay! That's one more thing I can check off on the list. One more step in the right direction, and it feels really good.

Low: I had an argument with some "tough" guy who I didn't even know. Let's just say we had a difference in opinion, and I felt like he was trying to intimidate me, both verbally and with his body language. When I stood up for myself, he just had to retort with "Fat B***h!" That infuriates me! When I hear that, I'm glad I don't have a baseball bat in my car because, God forgive me, I think I would have bashed his skull in. It bothered me all night.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I hate that too!! Why is that the first words that come out when someone is angry with an obese person?? I found that too. I was also a FAT so and so if someone had something nasty to me. It's the only acceptable bias left. Very few people see it as being discriminatory to chastise someone by calling them a fat "fill in the blank" IT bothered me then and it bothers me still. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Let your good news overshadow that loser. I hope today's a better day for you. Hugs!!

Always remember "you can't fix stupid". You are going to lose weight, he will remain ignorant.

Congrats on the Psych eval!

Thanks you guys. And tcgc, he did this in front of his three young girls. What a role model.

Congrats on the psych eval.

As for the fool, remember, it's he who's got a problem, not you. So, don't make it your problem, you're so much better than that and him.

I must say that in all the insults I've had hurled at me, no one has ever called me a "fat b!tch"!! I've been called a "fat pr!(k", though!! I recently overheard a couple of my freshman students walking in front of me in the hall refer to me as a "scrawny pr!(k"!!!

They'll never be happy with you because of their own internal problems. Don't carry them with you.

As for the two students, I picked up my pace a bit and as I passed them I smiled and said "you really think so?" I just cannot express how satisfying their facial expressions were!!

Like Doc says, it's their baggage, not yours. They have to go through life with that kind of hostility burning in their brains like an eternal case of heartburn. You are under no obligation to carry their burdens. They won't appreciate it anyway. (In the case of your tormenter, I certainly hope his daughters never get fat. Can you just imagine living with that kind of hostile rejection from your own father? )

happy dance on the psych eval! I have to say being the smart ass that I am the very first thought that came to mind was also the response I have used before related to another comment already. Well I may be fat but you will be an ignorant bstrd your whole life! I have never had anyone come back with anything there usually if they try they just sputter and further show all around what a total ignoramous they are. Each day a new beginning. You have to nail your feeling about him to the Cross. Forgive otherwise you are the one in torment over it. Your feeling bad doesn't affect him at all. He has probably already forgotten about it. Pour blessing on your enemies ask for blessing on them and God is our avenger in much more creative ways than we can every imagine. May the peace that passes understanding fill you flush out those feelings of frustration, anger and hurt in Jesus name.
