Default I've missed everyone

I may be a veteran on here, but I've definitely been having some issues and need to "come back home".

I'll start out saying next month will be my 3rd surgiversary. It's been a rough few months though. I think I told you that I had to have a hysterectomy last August. That went well, even though the doc had to do more than he thought. But, 3 weeks after that, my (ex) fiance decided to tell me that he was not happy with our relationship, and we broke up (yes, while I was in bed recupperating and trying to have as less stress as possible). Yes, this is the same one my mother had issues with, so I guess mother is always right . Needless to say he realizes his mistake and is trying to come back. I'm too busy taking care of me to even go back that way with him. Although, I do think I went into a depression because I broke every by-pass rule that was ever written, LOL. I ended up going on the 5-day pouce reset and did very well, and actually lost 9 pounds. That's where the fun stops

For the past few days, I've gained a pound a day, and I don't understand how and why. I've been following the rules even closer than I used to, started exercising more, and now the scale is going the wrong way. I don't want to get discouraged because I know this is not a diet but a way of life, but when I follow the rules and nothing happens, that can get very discouraging. Especially when I used to NOT follow the rules, and still lost (well, lost a little ).

So I need some support from my RR family, those who I know really understand how I'm feeling. Please help RR family; I don't want to gain too much back; I've got too many nice clothes that I want to be able to wear again!!!

Sorry to be so long, I'm just getting discouraged, and it doesn't help when my mother makes comments like "your hips are spreading".....I already know that and I'm doing something about it!! RR family, please help!!! I should be here helping the "newbies" but I'm crying for help instead....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

There's nothing wrong with asking for help!! I am only a little over 5 months out, and I am on here asking for it constantly!
I think that you are back on the right path, because you have the ability now to recognize WHEN there is a problem. Maybe in your old "fat" life, you wouldn't have thought twice about putting weight on. I know I never did.
Just keep coming back here. I don't think I would have ever made it through without RR!

Hello my friend. I am so happy to see you back. I do understand what you are saying. I am sorry to hear about what the X did to a special lady like you. He just does not know what he had. Make him sweat a little if you do take him back. lol
I have gained a few pounds myself. It is so hard when you hit that 3 year mark. I will not gain my weight back. I have gained even more being in the hospital but i know it is fluid. I hope it will come off soon. I am really drinking a lot of water I hope that helps. How are you feeling after the surgery. I know that i feel so much better when I had my hysterectomy

Good to see you. (((HUGS)))
Could be your gain is muscle, because you're exercisiing. Check out your clothes instead of the scale.

Yikes! What kinda man leaves his gal when she is down! Someone said make him sweat a bit...I'd do more than that! Make him cry! Ultimately you'll do what is best for you. But dang what a hard time. I am/was a stress eater so I totally know what it is like. I am doing the protein shake thing too right now and it does help to kinda get down to basics again. I know we get caught up in life and forget to take care of ourselves, you know? Above and beyond what your Mother says or what your ex says or does..you are number one and your health and happiness comes first!!!! Once you do that the other stuff will fall into place. We all probably wouldn't have gotten into the mess we were into if we would have done that in the first place, right? Take a minute to excercise, for you and plan your meals, for you and meditate with your God, for you. It will all come into focus then.

I am certainly sorry about that surgery. Kinda throws a wrench in things when you aren't feeling well and can't do a whole lot. But you will get back into your pretty clothes in no time!
