Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Holiday Weekend for the States. Here im am all excited about me taking a couple days off from work before the long weekend we are comming up on. Im going camping this weekend with a bunch of my old friends and some distant family members I think of as my Sister and Brother. The hubby is heading to Charlotte NC for the race. Im going the other way!......... But I need to stop and think about what this Monday comming up means. Its Memorial Day. A day to remember our fallen men and women who have served the USA in all the years. My hubby is a retired Military Man. A very proud one at that. He keeps in touch with his old commander and his buddies he served with for 20 years. Michael still gets commuications sent to him from overseas along with pictures and wishes from the men and women serving in Iraq and Afganaistan. I have set and watched him cry for these young people and scan the pictures of them. He sees the young faces and remembers what it was like when he was in. He come in at the end of Vietnam. He went on several missions I will never know about. He has served in all the excursions they have had since Vietnam including Desert Storm. I look at all the awards, medals, and his metal of honor. I will never know what all he seen. Every thing he had to do. But I am very proud of my Military man. He still stands proud for his country. He still crys for his fellow men and women. He will tell you no matter who is president at the time.....there still his Commander and Chief. Yes even though Micheal is retired and has been since 1993 he is still in line to be called back in. I wont lie and say that dont worry the hell out of me. His take on this? Its my job honey. So on Monday I will stand and remember our Memorail Day for what it was intended for. And try not to think of it as a extra day off from work. I hope you ALL have a good weekend no matter were you are. Take care GOD bless. |

I think amarica gets so cought up in its self and haveing a day of work that they forget the importace of why it is we have that day. My Boss is crap minded and is makeing us work monday i hope and pray that not a customer will come through the door. It makes me so mad. No respect he is just worried about makeing a dollar. I will not be seeing my husband on this day eather because he is working the oppistie sceduale as me. Monday is also my 3 year wedding aniversery.
