I am glad ladyhawk, that you are doing so well after your knee surgery. With the sores, ewwww. I remember when my oldest daughter had thrush. I felt so bad for her, and she had to have gotten it from the hospital. We brought her home from the hospital 4 days after she was born, and the very next day we had her back in with thrush. If what you had was like it, I can sure sympathize with ya. Not a good thing to get. Glad that you are doing better though.  mike

I am so glad to hear that your knee surgery went well. I know from my own experience that my knees, hips, feet etc. all feel so much better now that I have lost the weight. Your wls certainly will also aid in your knee recovering. In fact, the craziest thing ever imo happened after I lost the weight. My feet went from a size 9 to a size 8!! Even my feet were fat!! LOLOLOL  Also, I am so sorry to hear about the thrush/mouth infection. DrSanae had some great ideas in her post. Maybe you should follow up on them. Take care. Amy

I hope that you can get this all figured out before your WLS. It would be so much better not to have to worry about having the same mouth and throat problem again. Keep us posted on what you find out and congrats on the knee surgery. I have found that there is no in between reaction to knee surgery. You either do very well or you do awful. I am glad that you are one of the ones that did very well!

Thanks so much you guys. They have pretty much decided that it was from the eqiupment and not a reaction to the meds. I am on my second round of meds trying to get rid of this stuff.
