Thumbs up

I was on the liquid diet for almost 3 weeks and I lost 14.lbs. My doctor said, that the liquid diet is to shrink your liver so that it's not in the way during surgery. The liquid diet phase isn't all that bad if you think about
what it's all for. Keep up the good work you can do it.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well, I can't relate because my doc did not make me do liquid diet, thank heavans.....but I can say that liq diet post op is not like being on a diet at all. For me, I really wasn't too interested in food for a while. It was hard enough to consume sips of water constantly let alone worry about eating. But my doc was totally cool and said to blend/puree any soup and go for it. So my hubbies birthday was 1 week after and I had a big dinner for him, chicken alfredo, and I just took 1 noodle, a couple slice of chicken and some sauce and a little corn and mixed the hec out of it in my vitamixer, it was a really good cream soup and although I couldn't eat much of it, it really satified me. So, you will find little tricks to keep you satisified so your head hunger does not get the best of you, and it just won't take much to satisfy ya anymore, trust me. Good luck on the other side, looks like your date is coming up soon. Jody
