Default 6 days until surgery

I have less than a week till my surgery. I'm getting more nervous and excited at the same time. On top of this I think I'm trying to get a cold or allergies or something.....throats sore, sneezing. Trying to keep from getting sick before Monday. Is anyone else having surgery next week? Anyone have any words of advice?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You're normal, doing superbly well.
Just take one day at a time, tomorrow is another day.

Wink Nervous with you!

My surgery is the day after yours -- so I know how you're feeling! But we've done all the research. We've made all the decisions. We're doing the best we can on our pre-op diet ( I sorta cheated again) And we're going to make it through this. We may wake up and wonder what in the heck did we do -- but when the weight starts just rolling off and we start to see the curves we knew at some point in our history -- well it will be worth all the waiting in the world. WE WAIT for the WEIGHT to go AWAY.

It's kinda like being pregnant -- You've got this big old belly and you know that you're going to go in the hospital and when you come out it will be gone! Well, maybe not right away, but you know it will be going...going...gone!

Default Hello knm!

As the girls have said, all the feelings you are having are perfectly normal. We have all been in your shoes with the pre-op gitters. Heck, I got right to the operating room and literally wanted to jump off the table because I was scared to death...partly of the surgery, but mostly because I didn't know if I had what it took to make the surgery be a success for me. Boy, am I glad that I kept that surgical hat and gown on. You will feel the same once the weight starts melting off. Good Luck. We are all here from ya. mike
