Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I came on to confess. i actualy thought about buying diet pills today. I stood in the aisle at the supermarket reading them and almost threw a bottle in the cart. I think I hit a slump here. I am of course a little down about a not so good loss this month. And i feel like i should have lost way more by now. Would i die if i took a diet pill? I'm looking for a boost. I guess i dont realy need an appetite suppressant....but hey wait, i dont really know why i even want to take it to begin with?? Is it a control thing? I'm a little lost here. I think I've fallen and can't get up LOL! Can someone help me up?? I kind of feel like bits and pieces of the old me are slowly creeping back in. I mean I had my "DUH DAY" the other day and now this...what am i supposed to do at this point? Do i lock myself inside so that i am not tempted to do the things i used to? I guess this is a question for the oldtimers and people who are already at goal: how do you keep the old habbits out long- term??? |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Kenya the queen of support on this site. You have come more than half way to your goal in not yet four months. Your are going through some old feelings that want to return. Quite the struggle. My money is on you. Go take the baby for a walk, bring along your water bottle. Stop at the park sit on a bench and Thank God for your every blessing. You are awsone. just the fact that you recognize that you are having issues is half the battle. Go easy on your self this is a long distance marathon the rest of your life not a sprint. Your help depends on you winning the battle over the old habbits. Keep yourself busy, and make athe choises you know are right. You give such good advise and support on this site. Be gentle with yourself. Don't look at it as where you have to go but how far you have come. God has put us all in each others paths for a reason. Hang in there. This too my friend shall pass. Always here to support and encourage you. Renee'

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | You are doing great Kenya. Look how far you have come. You are just at a lull in your weight loss. It will pick back up. Just keep eating how your suppose to and you'll start losing again. You'll probably start losing big chunks of weight before you know it.

Listen honey......read old post. Mix up your routine some. Change what you eat at different times of the day. Your on a plateu. You gotta suck it up girl. You have just come way to far to do somthing like that to yourself. Look at what you eat. Just enough for a bird to swallow. I agree with boots. This didnt happen overnight and its not gonna go away that fast either. Think about what you have changed already. Go look at your pictures for goodness sake. Girl your only 4 months out. My own Dr told me its gonna be 1 year or more. Gilry if you bought them pills take em back. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | thanks everybody. doc: i know. im having insurance difficulties. mental health services are supposed to free of charge offered by my employer...however there is a supposed approval process. you actually have to fill out paperwork and wait for someone to "ok" your mental illness. i actually filled out a form entitled "request for mental health services and treatment LOL!!!!....ridiculous. I've been working on this since the week after my sirgery back in april and still not approval or referal. i thought maybe in the interim i could go out of pocket. i cant even afford it. the cost to see a shrink for an hour ive been trying to fight this part on my own for sometime now. needless to say i am so NOT winning the battle. I'll be alright. coming here eases it honestly. msvickie: no i didnt buy them. i got scared and left them at the checkout. |

| Super Moderator | Kenya, that would be frustrating for you, I am sorry to hear that. Incidentally, diet pills could harm your pouch, but even if you took them, it wouldn't work, be cause your appetite is supressed already.
