Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Well I finally started the Synvisc injections today into my knee. I have such a good looking Dr. Hes plum Purdy ! Anyways.... They just numbed it and injected. He told me the next two would be the rough ones. While I was there I told him I have been having major hip pain in my left hip. I thought this was pain because I have been putting Alot of pressure on one side of my body to keep it off my right knee. He went to checking it. He took xrays and found Alot of stuff but hes baffled. It seems my hip joints on both side are up higher than hes seen before. He assured me I was normal for myself but the joints go way up in my hip bones was unreal. I have a MRI for next tues and Physical Therapy. GRRRR I don't like Physical Therapy what so ever. The main reason they usually hurt you and never schedule for in the afternoons after work. I get off at 4:30 Im gonna be missing work as it is and I just don't like to and my Boss had a bit of a fit today when he found out I couldn't come back after the appointment. He was told this 2 months ago and he picked out when he wanted me to go and was told then i couldnt come back after the injections per the Ortho Dr. I still havint got my C-pap yet...... I have left my wallet in two stores now only to call them back and ask if it left it there. Thank goodness for honest people or I could have been wiped out. OK I have complained enough now. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Have you ever tried a chiropractor? I know everyone feels differently about them, but my sciatic nerve was on fire before surgery and it really helped. I still go for wellness now.. I hope things get better soon!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I have thought about it for my hip yes. I have never been to one before. My knee the Chiropractor isnt gonna help it. Its to damaged I have seen the inside pictures. Ah... If the MRI dont show up nothing outta sorts I will atleast attempt a visit to one and see if they cant help me. The pain in the hip since Thursday has gotten so unbearable at times No amount of pain meds I have taken ease it up. Im a pretty tough old bird. When I first went to the Ortho Dr about my knee he yelled at me asking me how in the world I stood it as long as I did. LOL. I think I wait to long and cant get it accoss sometimes Im in that much pain. I cryed with it last nite. That is somthing i have never done. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Oh Ms. Vickie, I'm so sorry to hear about your knee & hip pain. I have had cortisone (sp?) injections once for knee pain and my Dr recommended the Synovisc you had too. It's so painful to deal with, I know! Try to stay off your feet as much as you can and hang in there until your surgery. Mattie is right, the wls will be easy compared to what you're dealing with and everything will start to ease up soon then too. Prayers, hugs and positive thoughts all headed your way! Amy
