Ok guys.. i am going to show a picture that I am a bit embarassed to show,, but to prove just how much hair loss I have, I finally was able to get one. I of course have my bangs pulled up in the pic so the bald spot isn't that noticeable normally, but getting harder and harder to hid. here goes.

ty. i told my mom earlier that I was going to call asap in the a.m. I am going to be a thorn in their side til they see me. I just wish I could get seen earlier in case I get this new job. Would suck having to go in with a list of appointments that I have to fulfill.

((((((HUGS))))) It does look like a typical alopecia areata spot. I'm sorry that your derm appt is nearly a month off. One thought is, go to your PCP for the time being and see if he can suggest something to do until your appt date is here.

ITs hard THE top of my hair were i styled it heavy got very thin and TONS of scalp showed HATED it. MY hairstylist told me no HIGHLIGHTS, color, stress, dont wear pony tails till i was free from this stage. THE best thing was when i felt the peach fuzzies growing in. BIOTIN helps the new growth come in faster and healthier. UNOFORTUNATELY this happens with rapid weight loss! THIS was very tough on me i take pride in my hair! HANG in there! hugs!
