Well I found out why my hip is causing so much pain. Doc you will enjoy this as much as my orthopedic Dr. did. I have a torn Iliopsoas Muscle.
I have no idea how I did this. The orthopedic Dr today put the Synvisc injection in my right knee ( which by the way hurt really bad today) and then I said look what I have for ya. He read the MRI results and pulled the films out and was shocked. He said HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO THAT! NO WONDER YOUR IN ALOT OF PAIN GESSH !!!
Now see I have told yall Im tough and have VERY high tolerance to pain. I think Im gonna start whining early from now on LOL.
Anyways ...... he said its gonna bother me for the next 4-6 months if not longer considering the tear spot and the size If this was another part of your body they would bind it up so it cant move. No pressure stress no movement what so ever. But where this muscle sits.... that is impossible because if you even wanna move your hip or knee it moves to.
Then he asked if I would consider taking time out of work to let it rest. Mmmmm..........Boy I would love to jump on that but...... since Im having surgery in a month i declined and asked if I had to miss work would he do an excuse. He said of course and wondered how in the world I hadn't missed any already.
So Im to rest it as much as possible and take my pain meds. I have to call back tomorrow and ask If they want me to start the PT up or not .

Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
Ouch, ((((((HUGS)))))))
Yeah, but is there anything you remember that might have caused it? It would have to be something pretty drastic or repeated stress for muscles to be torn in the way you describe.
Wishing you speedy recovery.

Doc I honestly have no idea how I did it. I had no idea what that muscle even was or did until the MRI report come back in. I looked it up on the NET before seeing my Ortho so I could get some explaination of what it was.
I am as puzzled as you are.
