Default Disability Benefits

I have been fighting with Aetna for the last 2 weeks to get my short term disability. I got a letter yesterday in the mail that said I was denied because I had an elective surgery!! Yes, I opted to have, but it was for health issues. Just like my hysterectomy was!!! Anyway, I spent a lot of time on the phone with about 4 people yesterday raising hell and got a call this afternoon that it was processed and a check would be going out TOMORROW! YEAH!!! I was ready to go all "Chuck Norris" on them! Waaa Taaa! LOL. Then I told them that I went back to work this week p/t and she actually tried to talk me out of it by "gently" reminding me that I would lose some of the benefit. I was like yeah, but I will also be getting a paycheck and vacation time...duh! Anyway, I am estatic that it was finally approved and I am getting me a NICE treadmill! LOL Maybe one that will walk for me, I don't know.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Glad it all worked out. Insurance companies are not fun to deal with.
And yes I heard that you can pay a bit extra but they have treadmills
that walk for you.

Yeah, I am usually pretty quiet about things, but get me on the phone with an insurance company, and I put on the big shoes!
