I cried and underlined stuff and told everyone in my family to read it. I highly recommend this book to you all if you have not read it: Exodus from Obesity: The Guide to Long-Term Success After Weight Loss Surgery by Paula Peck

thanks for the recommendation! i am heading to the library next week as I figure I will have plenty of time on my hands and am gonna check out some books to read after surgery. I figure it cant hurt and heck I mght like to read after all

Yes, I recommend this one. It's very good. The hitch is it's available only online (you can get it at Amazon) so if you don't do online shopping for a variety of reasons, then borrow it from a friend if you can.
