A good friend of mine sent me this poem to lift my spirits this evening. As some of you now I've been having a tough few days. I hope sharing this will lift someone else up as well.
PHENOMENAL WOMAN by Maya Angelou Pretty women wonder where my secret lies I'm not cute or built to suit a model's fashion size But when I start to tell them They think I'm telling lies. I say It's in the reach of my arms The span of my hips The stride of my steps The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally Phenomenal woman That's me. Being at peace with yourself does a lot to make a woman beautiful, and a man handsome.
