Question The hardest part...

All of the physical stuff has been easy for me. When it is time for dinner, I don't care much what I am going to eat because it's only a few bites anyway right? The hardest part is how not caring about eating has changed my entire life. I am the planner and the entertainer of the family. This summer there were not any clambakes on the beach or many picnics. This fall I'll still go into the orchards and pick fresh apples but it won't be as much fun baking pies and making sauces. What is a football came without a hotdog, popcorn and candy? What about Thanksgiving not to mention Christmas. What about making cookies and candy and gingerbread houses? Tradition means so much to me and everything that I have traditonally done involves food. How does everyone else fill that void?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Cookie season is going to be hard. Real hard. I think hubby is either testing me or trying to get me ready because he has suddenly after 36 years developed an incredible sweet tooth. Funny thing is, I haven't been tempted so far. It's just odd.

I have thought about this one myself. Im going to (TRY) to do everything I always have done for my family but not eat it? LOL. Im gonna try to socialize more instead of eating is what i think Im saying. Trust me my bunch wont let me ignore the important things to them. Mabye it will be some fun finding recipies to try and make new healtihier stuff without them knowing it is.

This is too funny. I was just thinking about this same thing! I host Thanksgiving and Christmas here. But I am just going to enjoy being with my family instead of worrying so much about eating. I will enjoy them eating.

FOR me i have learned to make sugar free, lo fat versions
of things for the family.
things i put out for guests are far healthier foods
and HIGH protein.
PEOPLE havent even noticed.
YOUR appetitie will come back down the road
this is a phase. IN time you can eat more
and will do more.
I just put out far more fruites, cheeses and shirmps
and gatherings so that if i need to pick
im picking on good verse bad junk!
hang in there and enjoy

I dont particularly enjoy cooking, so I really have to make myself cook and plan anyway. I do find that I enjoy food and its flavors more than ever before when I was just piling it in, so when I do eat I think it's wonderful. For me, holiday baking is about people, not so much the food aspect. I like spending time with family and friends creating and even cooking isnt so bad then. Have a great day!

I am with TM. I am the host, the cook, the planner. I think I will probably still do it and not eat it. Don't care about eating it, especially the sweets, but now cornbread dressing will be hard for me to pass up. What I really think about is that everybody will probably be watching to see how I handle it and that will make me even more determined to show them how strong I can be. M
