Default Stalled and Hungry!!!

I'm 7 weeks out now and have lost 41 lbs. The surgeon told me that I am actually ahead of schedule on my weight loss. However, I have not lost anything in a week or so. I have also noticed that I'm getting hungry in between meals but when I eat, it doesn't take long until I'm full and sick feeling. I think I'm not chewing enough and I think I'm eating too fast. I haven't been exercising that much.
Am I stalling? Is it normal to stall around this time? I'm scared that I won't lose anymore. I have also figured out that I can eat very small amounts of sweets and not get sick. I wish I hadn't found this out but its too late now. Does anyone have this issue? Should my appetite be getting bigger now? I'm just afraid of losing control and not losing anymore or gaining the weight back.

I did dump the other day for the first time. I ate a few bites before bed of a brownie that my mom cooked and went to bed when I started getting sick. Woke up a couple hours later with diarrhea for two hours. I guess thats dumping. Thank God I didn't throw up!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

you are both doing fine. i think by 8 weeks i was on my second stall relax. it will start up again. focus on the fluids and the protein and try to exercise at least a little. the more you move, it will help. you really are doing fine im sure

I think we've all been there. I've started to notice some hunger recently, but I go to eat and it's 2 bites, I'm done. I'm kinda stalled right now too....I've only lost a couple of pounds over the last week! Keep after it....I've found increasing exercise helps as the appetite picks up....so we burn off some of the extra we take in!

Quite normal.
On some occasions, though, the feeling of hunger and thirst can get mixed up, so getting your fluids in at such times may help you, both with the hunger and meeting the requirement for fluids.
Or, get in a few small bites of protein. This might help, also.

Same here on the weight loss issue, but I have learned to ignore the scale. At least its not moving up! I am just looking at my clothes and how they fit...now that keeps me HAPPY! I have noticed that I start to get the "hungry feeling" right before lunch, but it doesnt last too long, and I am not as hungry as I had thought once I start to eat.

Same here, I have stalls, but I have noticed I my body is tightening up during that time. Once the stall is over, I bet you see a big drop on the scale.

Just wish it would tighten up a little better...LOL starting to see some loose skin....

Yes its normal. Just keep doing what your suppose to and it will start to come off again. And yes the hunger does return. Its alot of mind stuff I feel. Hang in there and I know its easier said than done, but stay off the scale and like the others say dont get on it and try to judge by how your clothes fit.

We all stall and then panic that the weight loss is over, like Kim said, at least its not moving up! My surgeon said when the scale stalls, put on a pair of pants you wore before surgery and smile!
