Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Mental Setback I was going to post some before and after pictures, you all look amazing in yours. So I had a before picture in mind but needed a recent one for a 2 month after. So I put on my size 20's, feelin' good, and had my son take a few pictures of me. WELL, when I looked at the pictures, I was SO dissapointed, and disgusted. Do I really go around looking like that?? I was feeling good about going from 24 to 20 and the 45 lbs. I have lost, but the picture was too much, now I am appalled. It really looked like a literal tire hanging over my pants waist, and like I was hiding 2 roasts in the front of my pant legs!!! I wont even go over my arms!! How come I don't see a bit of a difference??? I am always so good at telling others that the loss has been all over and we only look at the parts we want gone first..blahblahblah.....well, I cant even see that I have lost all over even! I just feel like crying, I really wanted to see a difference.

| Super Moderator  | Awww, ((((((HUGS))))) I'm sure there's a HUGE difference minus 45lbs, minus 3 sizes. But, yes, it's difficult to see yourself, while others notice pretty much right off. Post the pics when you feel comfortable, you probably will see the difference yourself once they are posted, there is a difference in how you see the pics just on screen, and when you see them in a post. Strange but true. You're doing fine, may your journey go well.
