I am doing better making sure to take my friend Jo Ann's advice to walk walk walk. And then everybody's advice sip sip sip.  I get the drain tube pulled out Wednesday so that will make life a little easier. I really enjoyed my blue bunny lite yogurt the other day and it has become my friend for protein! Hi Michelle--I am so glad to see that you are home and doing well. I have been pretty busy this past week with Halloween coming up and enjoying being able to spend time at my daughter's school. I had my post op visit Friday and will be returning to work on Nov 5. I am feeling good and am currently down 19 pounds. I will check back later to check on you! Jo Ann

Welcome home Michelle, as for the lactose intolerance, I use soy milk, If you have a Whole Foods Market, their 365 brand is the best I have found, they all tastle different, so you have to shop around and find one to your liking.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Haven't been on in a while Hello everyone! Just wanted to post a quick note. Things are alright. I had my drain tube pulled............I thought it was only about 6 inches long.......NO more like 3 ft long! It was not a good experience. My body is now missing it and I am pretty bruised up.  Today seems to be a little better but WOW, I am glad that is over. Trying to get all my protein in has been a problem lately. I haven't felt good for the past couple of days(since they pulled the drain tube on Wednesday). I am sure this is part of the roller coaster ride for wls. Anyway, thank you everyone for your support. Love ya all!!!

Hi Michelle--Glad to hear your tube is gone. I have been thinking of you and wanted to say a quick hi. Tomorrow I go back to work and I am looking forward to it. I have found where I have a ton of energy one day and do lots of things, then the next day I am junk. I guess I need to figure out when to stop of my high energy days so I can save some of it for the next day. Otherwise things are going well. I am currently down 24.5 lbs and hoping to be down 25 by tomorrow morning! Give me a call when you can. I know you are missing your hubby and hoping you are doing well.
