Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  I have a problem!!! Its Disgusting so beware. Lordy yall, I got up this am. Went to the fridge knowing I had enough cottage cheese left for my breakfast. I open the container always smelling the product to make sure its still good. Its fine. Then all of a sudden a auful smell hit me. I was like mabye the cottage cheese is bad? I smelt it again. Nope its fine. This smell is really strong and getting worse. I was so puzzled. I know I had my entire face down in the cottage cheese container to check it again. Then I thought about yesterday me noticin one of my incisions that had that last drain they just pulled from me a week and a half ago was a bit red but thought nothing of it. I felt down and my shirt was covered. The scab that was healing on it let go and infection was pouring out. Im a nurse and I have never in my life seen so much come out of one spot in my life. This went on for a hour. Not little drips mind you pouring. I let it drain out cleaned it put hot compresses on it and bandaged it up. I called the surgeon whom his office paged and he immediatly called me. He said I did the proper stuff and he wants to see me tomorrow. He was in surgery all day today. This incision didnt hurt me. Still dont. It was barely red yesterday when I looked at it. Not the alarming kind of red either. I thought Ok its a bit irritated but nothing to worry about. It wasnt even tender to the touch. Im off to the Drs tomorrow to have him look at this. I wont lie and say im not scared. I have gotten to where now im scared to death to go to a Drs office. I think having this past surgery and my complications have tramatized me in a way. I have never been like this before. If i have to go have my labs done I start shaking so bad along with seeing the Dr. While in the hosptial I hated to see the nurses come in even if it was to give me pain meds. I had a central line put in so the lab work didnt hurt while in there but I would get so shaky while they were in there with me. Please wish me luck for tomorrow and that I can come home and post that things are ok. Let me clarifiy one thing. I would have this surgery done again that isnt the problem is what happened afterwards. |

I Think Its Because We Were In The Hospital So Long And Had So Many Problems. Especially When I Ended Up In The Hospital A Few Wks Later For The 2nd Time Because Of The Dialation Going Bad. Uhhhh Hello I Expected To Go Home After Dialation. So Now Im Always Afraid I Wont Be Back Home After A Test. Lol Also The 2nd Drain They Kept In Me For So Long Was Also Started To Get A Little Infected Because It Was Red And Very Painful When I Even Tapped The Tube. Once They Took It Out I Did Get A Lot Of Oozing Of Yellow Green Stuff But Never Pouring Out Like Your Saying. Ouch I Wish You Well Hun Xoxoxo
