| The noise continues....
Today after work I actually had a few hours to myself. Havent had this is YEARS. Kayla was with her grandmother today and i get home in about 10 minutes now, and i sat and sipped on some crystal light and thought WOW. it's been an eventful year to say the very least. and it's winding down. Yet, my mind is still racing as fast as it was day one post op.
I am a little concerned about this whole weight loss thing lol! I mean, It's not so much what others are saying; I couldnt care less. but I'm nervous that this ISNT slowing down. On the flip side of the coin i think my goal weight should be lower than what i have set it to... I wonder if I will rebound? I wonder if I am eating right? I wonder what moderation REALLY means? How can i eat healthy and balanced when i can still only eat 2-3 ozs in a meal? Will I ever be able to eat more than that? Should I be focusing on just meat/ protein, or fit everything into my little 3 ozs? I'm lost...STILL lol! How is that possible? at 7 months, shouldnt i have this down???? I guessI am ok with the "NOW" but where will I be with this in say.....5 years???
Though I dont weigh myself daily anymore, my clothes are getting loose, again . dont get me wrong. this is not a BAD thing but the control freak in me cant help but wonder when this is going to end?? I mean, I need a date Is it arrogant of me to say at this point i dont worry about re-gaining?? I honestly dont (today). Maybe i should???
I think I think too much. i let the thoughts overwhelm me. I probably shouldnt. There is more to life than obsessing over things. I cant wait til it gets warm again. Im sure being inside cuz it's cold will make me lose my mind all over again. We had flurries this morning. do you believe that????
Thanks for listening....

LOL your silly girly. Listen, You know you looked and seen what you should weigh for your height. You have already took your goal down once. Meet your goal darlin and be happy with it!. Me and you are the same height. My goal is 15 pounds more than yours and mine is in the normal weight range without being overweight. You will level off and you need to be happy with that. For the record, i was going through post earlier and my hubby was standing behind me talking. He seen your pic and said man that girl there is skinny ! Now he dont give compliments like that alot so take it for face value.
Tell the nosie to be quiet next time ! LOL. Take care girly.

I hope you figure some of these things out, just for your own peace of mind. I have not had these thoughts yet, still on the side of things where I am waiting for ANOTHER stall to break, and wondering if I will be one of the few that this surgery dosn't work for. I am still fighting my TV daily, with the snacking. I still look in the mirror and hate what I see, and don't see a difference from 315 to now. I have wondered how the losing stops, but I am sure my surgeon will let me know when (if) the time comes for that. Hang in there, maybe Doc will have something to say on this that you will find helpful.

Well.....for one thing, no, I don't expect you to have things pat down in 7 months. This is a life long journey, and from what I know from the older posties, it'll take you a couple of years, and even then, from time to time, you'll have things surprising you.
So long as you are taking your vits and supplements as your surgeon says, and your blood lab levels are within normal limits (WNL) then, get your protein in first, and if you have space left, get other things in. Some people will be able to eat a bit more at your stage, others not. Give yourself until you are a full year out, you may starte being able to eat more. It just may be that your head noises are turning you off food as well.
At any rate, as far as WLS life goes it is for a lifetime, so, at 7 months out, you are still a newbie at this, not a veteran.
Relax, sit back, empty your mind and enjoy the ride.
BTW, since you've moved, isn't it time to take out that viola and start playing again?

I honestly can't wait to deal with that noise....I KNOW I've come a long way in a short time, but it feels like I still have so far to go....
You have done incredible Kenya....and I imagine I will feel some of the same things when I get to your stage....I'm sure if you continue to work the plan, you will stabilize...!

Kenya Honey You Had Many Noises Going On Before When You Had Pressure Of Driving To Work, Living Situation, Job Situation, Etc. All Of These Things Are Now Getting Resolved So I Think Its Time For You To Tune The Noises Out And Start Enjoying The New Life You Now Have And How You Look Otherwise The Noise Will Just Always Go On And On Hun.
I Cant Wait To Have The Noises You Are Experiencing Im Also Very Afraid That I Could Be One Of Those People That The Surgery Doesnt Work Fully For. The Pounds Are Slowing Down Alot And Now Im On A Long Stall!!!! I Know When You Have A Stall You Lose Inches But Thats Even Slow Now!!! Im Following All The Rules So I Will Have To Just Sit Back And See What Happens.
Kenya You Have Done So Well And I Find You Such An Inspiration! Like Doc Said You Are Only 7 Months Out Hun Of Course You Are Still Finding You Way And Thats Ok Just Enjoy The Ride And You New Life
