Since you have not been given much instruction from the hospital staff/doctor, I would recommend you read WLS for Dummies. It has a great section on post op diet in stages including the recipes

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thank you all!

The dietplan says 1,5 liter a day of water

and it does`t say much about protein.

The first 2-3 weeks, make sure you get your water in.
1.5 liter seems a little low, US surgeons require 64oz which is about 2 liters.
Also, once you are past the first few weeks, you really need to work on getting your protein in, and the minimum required by US surgeons is 60 grams per day, so if you haven't been instructed about protein, then you should target that amount. You will need protein to heal, and to build your body that will lose weight easily, so you need to get protein in first, then, if you have space in your pouch left, veggies and after that carbs.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the loser's bench. Like everyone else has said, my surgeon said 64 oz of water a day and 65g of protein a day. It is hard to get it in at first or at least it was for me.
