Default Hi yall

Well, a bit of a update. Im still sick. Hurling daily several times. My surgeon is not in the office for 3 weeks. I have been in and out of my PCP's office and the ER getting IV's and meds. I go see my surgeons partner today who by the way does not do gastric bypass. Im hoping she will at least do a EGD on me to see if my stoma is wanting to close up. I have had xrays and Ct scans within the past week. Funny once you have this surgery how many Drs dont know how to take care of you.

I have been downsized at my job. Did this have anything to do with me having surgery? Yes......im sure of it but it will never be said. I will be allowed to drawl unemployment until another job is found. The best part of all that is I did have the oppurnunity to tell the boss just what I was thinking. Yes i was very polite in my way but made my point. Its a relief. I have spoke several times about me not liking the Dr I worked for. So that is nothing new. It does bother me that in all the years i have worked this is the first time I have not liked the person that signed my check! LOL. This was Monday. I have recieved 3 calls so far asking how to do somthing. Im not sure? LOL Anyways this is a blessing in disguise. I hate this come at the time of year it did but....... supposivly the company is losing money and the way to save is to down size.

My husband was happy. Yes i said happy. I thought he would be upset. He said honey, i dont have to see you in tears, pinging off the walls, or just being upset. This is a blessing. Remind me if i ever fuss about him that i am very fourtate to have him ok? This is enough of me.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Oh MsVickie, I am so very sorry you are still sick and so surprised your surgeon would go away for 3 weeks without having some kind of backup. However, I must say, the idea of being "downsized" so you can tell your boss what you are thinking is almost enviable .

In fact, on a day like yesterday - and probably more so today, it IS.

I hope you get better soon. I think of you every day.

Thanks ladies. Dont be sorry about the job. Im skilled enough to pick another one up soon. Yes on the rest..... I dont think I was ready to go back when I did. My surgery come out a bit differently than the rest and I realize that. I was the youngest on list to get wacked off at work. I had been there 7 years and made it though a massive cut 3 years ago. I got to keep it then over others who had been there longer but knew less. The company went from employing 3 surgeons and 18 workers down to 1 surgeon and 5 workers. The one Dr I worked with is the one that eveyone said they wouldnt work for. I have already sent out 3 resumes to other jobs. They look promising.

I have never not worked. Raising my son all those years by myself instilled that into me. This is acutally a relief. When he told me what he did a weight was lifted from my shoulders. Strange huh? I loved my job but not my boss.

Just keep hoping this Partner of my surgeons will look at my stoma. I have now gotten down to if i even have a sip of water or a teaspoon of food it comes back up. This could be a couple hours later. The weight loss is great yes......but how i feel is plain terrible.

Ms Vickie Can You Ask Them To Do A Scope I Really Think It Could Be A Stricture But Of Course Im Not A Doc. And The Only Way To Find This Out Is With A Scope. It Is Pretty Scarey That No One Can Really Help You While He Is Away. Just Doesnt Seem Right

The Job Situation. Everything Happens For A Reason And Who Wonts To Go To A Job Everyday That They Hate. Oh And I Love How They Call You At Home Ask You How To Do Things. Ummmm You Dont Work There Anymore They Should Figure It Out Themself. Lol

Good Luck Hun

((((MsVickie))))

I hope you can find out what is making you feel so yucky! I'm wondering if it's a stricture too. Yes, the downsizing IS a blessing. Take your time, get yourself better, and then find another job. It's all going to work out for you.
