I got home today. I was the perfect textbook surgery , up walking within an hour of getting out of recovery and walked several laps around the nurses station. But then the nasty narcotics got to me. They made me unresponsive and that set me back a day. I still feel great but no drugs for me. I am a raging mess from no anti-depressants and anti - anxiety meds. I know in the next few days i will have to work on all of these issues but it is worth it in the end. My Phychiatryst came up and did some reflexology and massage and it works wonders on the muscle spasms i am having where the drain was. Well, off to be to get some well needed rest. Thank you all for everything. Wendy

Hi All, I just got released from the hospital again. On Dec 27th I had to go to the ER because I was having breathing trouble. Got a respitory infection and they put me on Steroids. Well, a few days later I was getting these awful pains in my pouch and intestines and I went back to the ER because I was getting worse instead of better. They ended up admitting me I have an Ulcer that was caused by the steroids. My surgeon was not happy to say the least. The ER supposedly had talked to the surgeons. Well, needless to say I am pretty tired. I have to continue on the full liquids until Jan25th when I see the surgeon again. I also can't walk like I was because of my blood pressure. It drops to a dangerously low level. I will keep you posted. Take care Wendy
