Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Finally hope I finally got to see my surgeon today. He just got in last nite from his long trip that was interrupted buy all the bad weather across the states trying to get home. He will be doing a dilation this week. Im not sure which day yet. He apologized for not having anyone taking his call. I now know what to do if it ever happens again when hes not around. His office neglected to tell me go to to the other hospital in the region and have the other Baratric Dr's look at me threw the ER. He said he would be sure to let them know they dropped the ball. So EGD this week....aka running the light down me..... and dilating the stoma. I think hope and pray this fixes my problem. I had the privilege of speaking with some of his other patients today in a different office he is in. I got to see first hand his work. Impressive I will say. One poor lady told me she has had such emotional issues from this surgery and is still having them. She refuses to go back to the Psychiatrist. Her surgery was 2 years ago. Another one told me she is now at 106 lbs that is up from 98. She is wanting a reversal. Another one is just as happy as she can be at 140 and loving life. The last one is someone I actually knew before she had her surgery 2 years ago. She looks great, feels great. Shes a old patient from where I used to work. I went from this visit to a job interview. It went really great. I can honestly say this is the first interview I ever had that I walked away feeling like ok........ I probably got this job. It even starts off paying much better than the one I left. She told me straight up she was very impressed with the work and experience I had for the position. They hope to hire by the first of the year. So if this dilation works and I get this job........I will be back to myself very soon..... I hope ! If not the job at least let me feel better. Yes i would take that right now over anything. I want to thank you all again for listening to me. Its been hard for me the past 5-6 weeks. I actually have hope today. I had to share. |
