Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Getting Anxious Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. I'm having gastric bypass on January 22nd and I'm starting to get very nervous and anxious. It seems the closer it gets to surgery, I'm unable to sleep at night thinking about it. It's exactly what I want to do, so I don't know why I'm now getting so nervous. I trust the doctors and the hospital, so what's going on with me. If anyone can give me some inspiration until the date of surgery, I'd appreciate it more than you could know. Thank you so much.

I spent a good bit of time doing stuff that I knew I wouldn't be able to do for a while - cleaning out cupboards, organizing my clothes etc. Hang in there - the time will pass quickly and then you'll have a new, bright future to look forward to.

It's stress and nerves. So it's very normal, but I love to come on here and see all the posts and how many people are post-op and see how wonderful they look! Good luck!
