Default Getting Anxious

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. I'm having gastric bypass on January 22nd and I'm starting to get very nervous and anxious. It seems the closer it gets to surgery, I'm unable to sleep at night thinking about it. It's exactly what I want to do, so I don't know why I'm now getting so nervous. I trust the doctors and the hospital, so what's going on with me. If anyone can give me some inspiration until the date of surgery, I'd appreciate it more than you could know. Thank you so much.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Getting worried and nervous is normal. This is an enormous step for anyone.

I spent a good bit of time doing stuff that I knew I wouldn't be able to do for a while - cleaning out cupboards, organizing my clothes etc.

Hang in there - the time will pass quickly and then you'll have a new, bright future to look forward to.

Me too!! My surgery is 1-29-08 and everynight since I found out the date I've been grinding my teeth while I sleep and wake up with a VERY sore left TMJ. It's stress and nerves. So it's very normal, but I love to come on here and see all the posts and how many people are post-op and see how wonderful they look! Good luck!

Wow - January is going to be quite a busy month! My very best wishes to each of you and you are all doing what I did! I learned a long time ago that when I am anxious or angry I can clean like crazy! Needless to say, my house was spic and span clean when I went into the hospital - of course, weeks later when I could really clean house again.....
