Default Good Morning, Friends!

My favorite way to start my day - with a cup of latte (nonfat, sf, decaf) and my WLS buddies I was thinking yesterday as I was driving home, has anyone noticed a change in your overall mood? I just seem to be happier and more content now than I was 6 mos ago. I am wondering if it is the weight loss that makes me feel better, or the psych, emotional changes that are producing the good vibes, or maybe just a result of me taking better care of myself and spending time on my appearance. Maybe all the above? I have had several comments that I carry myself differently and have an air of confidence that I didn't have before. I know for me I seem to see the world thru rosier glasses (at my age the "rose colored glasses" came off a long time ago!)

I also have noticed I am wanting to eat more - I think it is boredom at work (I sit in a call center all day) I really have to pay attention and only take what I should eat with me. The other day I thought I had really overdone it but thankfully I had healthy stuff with me so I really didnt blow it; it really pays to be prepared. Oh, and I have a confession - I found that I really love pumpkin pie (newsflash right? - but I made it sugar free) I also learned that crust is bad but the filling is great so I guess I will be making a crustless pumpkin pie. Does anyone have the calorie content for say 1/2 c Splenda? It just says its a free food up to 8t but doesnt say what it is after that.

Well, rather long here - hope you all have a great Friday - yea!!! and a nice weekend too.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Way to sit back and take notice of ALL that we receive with this surgery. Thanks for the note, I will think about it when I get myself down. I think the cold winter months are the "normal" time for the hungries to sneak into our lives.

My boss actually told me he had noticed an overall change in me since surgery...he said I see less stressed.....after trying to pick up 90 pounds at the gym last nite, it's NO WONDER!!!! That is a lot of weight to be carrying around each day....it's absolutely amazing..I was thinking last night..what if I strappd that to my back...and even tried to take a few steps?!?!?!
