He is young (24) a minister  his dad is a pastor. he is great with conversation, in fact we have discussed religion and the bible and he has even invited us to hear him preach on sunday (tomorrow) HOWEVER, i am not religious lol. i think this might be a PROBLEM. in fact i am sure it is. he is heavily involved in the church and i am so not....i guess the search continues lol!!PS. he knew i had surgery and was cool about it. he noticed the loss over the past 4 months which is how long he has been with the company. its funny how people notice things...

| Super Moderator  | It's a good idea to start from friendship, rather than "is he a possibility for me?" If you start from the beginning with certain expectations, you may make yourself blind to some things you should see. If you start out just friends, even a word or two like hello, how ya doin', that slowly evolves to a longer and more substantial conversation, and seeing how he works and interacts with other people will tell you a lot about the person, and you'll see what you should see. So, don't write him off yet completely, but if you can stay friends, even if things end there, that's a good thing for both you and him, you both have another friend on your list. Lightening bolts do happen, but it's more the exception than the rule.
