Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Velda,

I am doing great. I am just about fully recoverd from my surgeries, just letting the scars continue to heal. I am back in the gym and have pretty much returned to normal life.

I did not have any liposuction done because I had no fat to be removed, I only had excess skin or believe me I would have had it sucked right out! My mother has undergone extensive liposuction as well as a good friend of mine...what questions do you have? I may be able to help you.

Actually I am studying as a general interest on fat reducing measures, we are working for a medical transcription as a part time job. I am a bit confused about the liposuction and lipoplasty. How ever one of my colleague told me that they are same but i didn't find it satisfactory. So i am looking for some explanatory answer related to its practical surgery...

I am not sure from your posts whether you are fully aware that this is a forum for BARIATRIC SURGERY=WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY support, and for the Non-ops seeking to lose weight for HEALTH reasons, not cosmetic reasons. Both liposuction and lipoplasty are COSMETIC surgery, NOT a medically necessary surgery such as Roux en Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastroplasty, lap banding, duodenal switch etc etc to help reduce a large amount of weight--at least 80lbs and in some cases over 200lbs-- and reduce the level of, or solve, medical problems or future medical problems like type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, hypertension, high cholesterol and triglycerides, arthritis, etc etc that obesity plays a very large part in.

Some people will have plastic surgery done to remove the excess left over skin from the large amount of weight lost, but this is the result, not the objective. Weight loss surgery is not a fat reducing measure, it is a life saving surgery. It is not done for looks or vanity, it is done to regain HEALTH, and regain one's life that was impaired due to the impaired health.

We are here to support the people who need to/have been able to lose weight for HEALTH reasons and to save their lives.

I hope you understand this, and take this into consideration in your future posts.
